Marty's key values of integrity, loyalty, duty and courage guide his work with leaders and teams at all organizational levels. He brings a passion for people and a wide range of experience, facilitation and coaching tools to support each leader’s success.
Over a 40+ year leadership career in senior and executive roles in the public and private sectors, Marty has consistently delivered outstanding business results. He has worked with hundreds of leaders across a wide range of industries, challenging and supporting them to effectively lead change, cultivate performance and deliver exceptional outcomes.
As an experienced leader and coach, Marty knows that the most impactful and sustained results are achieved when people learn and execute on their own priorities. He challenges leaders to leverage their strengths and hold themselves accountable for measurable change with a sharp focus on performance execution.
Marty holds a Bachelor Degree in Engineering from the Royal Military College of Canada, and completed a 30-year career as an Officer in the Military Engineer Branch of the Canadian Forces serving in Canada and the US. Marty also holds Graduate Certificates in Executive Coaching and Professional Mentor Coaching from Royal Roads University. Marty is a Professional Certified Coach with the International Coach Federation.
Marty is committed to community service and was honoured to receive the CMC-BC President’s service award for his volunteer leadership coaching in the BC Cancer Agency. He also continues his service to Canada's military leaders, and in 2011 the Governor General of Canada appointed Marty Honorary Colonel to 4 Construction Engineering Squadron, Cold Lake, Alberta.
