Joy is an innovative leader with a passion for people, building community, developing organizational bench-strength and delivering results.
Over a 30-year corporate leadership career, she effectively led change, grew business results, developed new service offerings, and cultivated strategic partnerships. As VP for the Prairies and Northern Region, she led strategy, operations and performance execution across multiple business lines and locations. As VP, Western Canada, she led accelerated growth and received the President’s awards for Teamwork and Leadership.
At PPG, Joy continues to support leaders and their success by providing Leadership Training and Development. Leaders particularly value her ability to both challenge and cultivate their learning and growth. She inspires them to "up their game" and find new ways forward. She co-created the curriculum and facilitates PPG’s innovative Leadership Action-Learning Development (LEAD) Program which has served hundreds of leaders across a wide range of industries. Joy is a Certified Forum Chair with MacKay CEO Forums, a Certified Management Consultant and graduate of York Universities’ Executive Development Program. She has also completed International Coach Federation (ICF) Executive Coach training and Covey Leadership's in-residence programs.
Joy’s community service includes past Director of the Women’s Enterprise Centre of BC, past Chairperson for the Regional Development Council of the BC Cancer Foundation for the Southern Interior, past Chapter Chair and Board Member of CMC BC. Joy is currently Chair of the Board of Directors of the BC Corps of Commissionaires and an Advisor to STS Capital Partners M&A Firm.
